I apologize in advance for not posting for the past few weeks. I decided to take a short break to focus on a project and hadn't gotten ahold of my laptop since. I will be leaving next week to Vegas but I have so many new posts coming, including a spring clothing haul. Enjoy this week's Tumblr Tuesday.
As I was walking around my mall I found a new brand that you need to check out. By new, I mean new to me. The store is called Tilly's (if you didn't already know that from the title of the article). It's like a Pacsun but almost better. Sorry Pacsun. As soon as I walked into this place, I felt it was a really hip place. Nice clothes, great music, friendly employees. I would totally recommend. And if you get there within the next few hours I'm sure you can catch their President's Day sale.
And don't wait to come back within the next few weeks to see some of the clothes I bought. But here are some of my favorite I saw in the store. One of the best collections, in my opinion, at this Fashion Week was the Heart Truth Collection. I love how its goal is to raise awareness for heart disease in women. Above is my favorite dress in the collection, an Alice + Oliva dress wore by AnnaSophia Robb.
Watching New York Fashion Week. Check. Going on Tumblr. Check. Finding a costume for a pointe piece in a recital. Not check. Since I am the ONLY one who hasn't picked out their costumes, I decided to kill two birds with one stone. I'll go on Tumblr and find ideas and write my weekly blog post. And if you didn't already notice this, I like to be different. (Also know as trying to stand out from the competition.) If you want to check out any the pictures below and see where I found them or just check out my Tumblr post, click below. To kick off this post I just wanted to say how excited I am for all the upcoming posts (and plus I little something special for March). These products below have helped me control my acne. One product that I didn't mention in here is Oxy. I haven't used it for a while because I wasn't noticing much of a difference, but it did do wonders for some of my bigger acne-prone spots on my face. And in all honestly, Clearasil isn't all it's cracked up to be. It does help, but it does not offer the immediate relief like it says in advertisements (but that is completely expected). Aveeno Naturals were the first products I used when I first started to wash my face. I just recently started to use their moisturizer. These are both great products for evening your tone and brighten your face. I would not recommend using this product if you have really bad acne. I feel this product is mostly for maintaining a clear face and brightening/evening the tone of your face.
Normally, I probably wouldn't have chosen this for my Tumblr Tuesday. This country was assigned to me for a project and all this research has made me wish I could go there! From the great fashion to the eco-friendly bicycle highways, this country has some of the greatest sights to see. |
