I was so excited when I was blog-surfing and saw a post by Chalkboard Nails about the Opi Brazil collection. If you haven't seen what the new colors will be, take a look. I have to that I am not the biggest fan of the reds and orange colors but it is perfect for the theme of Brazil. It makes me wish I was on the beach. I am; however, very impressed with the bottom row that you see in the picture. I think of all the colors, Next Stop... The Bikini Zone (bottom left) is my favorite. What do you think?
I don't know about you, but I am pretty pumped for the season premiere of Degrassi: 13C. I can't wait to see more of Zig since his appearance a while back. So, here is this week's Tumblr Tuesday to get excited for tonight! Last night I tuned in to the red carpet scene for the Grammys. Like the Golden Globes, I thought I'd show you my top three dresses. (Left: Colbie Caillat, Middle: Madonna, Right: Beyonce) Though Katy Perry dress was not my favorite of the night, I thought it was so beautiful and it was my personal favorite for the fact that these artists were going to the Grammys. I loved the musical elements put into the dress.
Inspired by Emilie Autumn's The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls, this Tumblr Tuesday combines classical Victorian-age fashion and steampunk. So remember girls, keep your corsets tight, your morals high, your knitting neat, and your yappers shut. (Lyrics from Emilie Autumn's Girls! Girls! Girls!) Six days ago, on January 12th, most of us probably checked out the red carpet scene of the Golden Globes. In my opinion, I thought these three had gorgeous dresses. (Left: Tina Fey, Middle: Cate Blanchett, Right: Sophia Vergara I love Jennifer Lawrence as much as the next person, but I was quite disappointed with her dress. I just thought it looked too similar to the one she wore during the Oscars 2013.
This week for Tumblr Tuesday I decided to go with my biggest inspiration: ballet. If you didn't notice already, that is where my name came from. So enjoy this week's long (ish?) Tumblr Tuesday. And if you want to see more of my inspiration for fashion and dance, along with other random posts, you should follow my Tumblr. Most readers might have thought I was talking about the popular television show when they saw the title. (Honestly, I'm too scared to watch that show.) Since my area has been snowed in, I've been stuck to absorb my recent post a couple days ago. Zombies. As a normal person, I get acne. Don't most people? As a treatment, I decided to resort to a face mask I found on Pinterest. (Check out my Pinterest page for other masks like this.) All you will need is some baking soda and water. Mix together in a small container until it becomes a paste. You can spread it on your face or use it as a spot treatment.
I had my doubts that this wouldn't work. After taking it off after about ten minutes, I did notice a big difference. The redness of my face was at a minimal. I have few bad spots on my face, but those spots' swelling had gone down. The baking soda also serves as an exfoliant so my face even felt softer afterward. My acne looked so much better - as good as acne can look - and I was so much happier. I encourage anyone with my problem to try this mask. It works miracles! |
